Prayer is like a method of seeking blessings from God. And when there are various difficult situations that cannot be solved by oneself, prayer is the method of asking for help through the warm eyes of God.

What is prayer?

As we humans live in this world, there are many times when we need the help of other people. But human capacity and power are limited. Therefore, we cannot live without God's help. Therefore, we should pray to God who knows our weaknesses and helps us.

It is said in the Bible that "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you." For whoever asks receives, whoever seeks finds, and the door will be opened to whoever knocks.”

Matthew 7:7-8

The Christian life is a journey. Jesus never said that this journey was easy. But this verse says, there is one person in our journey who gives us everything we need on our journey. Who shows us the way? Who will open doors for us? But all we must do is ask, seek, and knock in prayer.

This is a word of promise that if you pray, everything will be fulfilled. Prayer has unlimited power. It has the power to create 'something' from 'nothingness'. Therefore, we should pray for God's help.

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Isaiah 41:10

So now let's find out what prayer is in more detail.

1) Prayer is the breath of the soul.

Just as the human body can live by breathing, the soul of the saints who believe in God lives by prayer, because prayer is the breathing of the soul.

2) Prayer is a conversation with God.

God is the Father of our souls. We are children of God. A prayer is an act of talking in detail about happy things when you are happy and difficult things when you are difficult.

3) Prayer is like a telephone conversation with God.

Whether it is day or night, regardless of the time of day, when we pray, our prayers reach God immediately, and God answers prayers.

Finally, there are many things in the life of a believer that we need to beg, seek, and knock. As we pray, seek, and knock, God fulfills all our desires.
